Cookie policy
This page lists the cookies MotionMate sets on your browser, their purpose and lifetime. In line with the GDPR and ePrivacy directive, only strictly necessary cookies are set without consent.
⚠ Draft policy. The granular consent banner (analytics/marketing/third-party categories) will be published before going to production.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file set by a site on your browser, used to remember you between visits (sign-in, language, preferences) or to measure site usage.
2. Categories
We classify cookies used in three categories: strictly necessary, anonymous analytics, and third-party services. No advertising cookies are set.
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to work: Supabase authentication session, language choice, CSRF token. Without them, you can't sign in or place an order.
Analytics
To measure audience anonymously and improve the product. As of today, MotionMate does not use any third-party analytics tool; this section will be updated if we integrate one.
Third-party services
Cookies set by services embedded on the site when you interact with them: Stripe (payment), YouTube (video embed). These cookies follow their respective providers' policies.
3. Cookies we set
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Supabase authentication session | Session | Essential |
| NEXT_LOCALE | Selected language (FR / EN) | 1 year | Essential |
| __stripe_* | Stripe Checkout payment security (anti-fraud) | Session | Third-party |
4. Managing your consent
You can delete cookies via your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in. A granular consent panel will be available soon.
